Answering fan mail

Got this mail some time ago and totally forgot about it. I mailed her back but just in case I’m going to reply on the site as well. It’s in Swedish so don’t freak out about the weird words.

A reflection

It’s now been a couple of months since the release of my album “Sympaticus” and so far it has been the best received album of mine. I got good reviews at various forums where people who don’t know me at all really had a chance to hit me with the truth and that really makes me more confident as a musician. This is some of the things that’s been written by people on a forum called Flashback known for it’s freedom of speach and brutal honesty.

Alright, I’ve been listening through the whole album and I have to compliment you on a great job! There isn’t a single bad song on the album! /hepp00 at Flashback.

This is really good, sounds very professional! Reminds me a lot of early Green Day (Dookie album). Well done! /netko at Flashback.

Well, I do agree that it is well produced, good quality and mix. But personally I didn’t like the music since I perfer harder and I wouldn’t call it punk at all. The music doesn’t live up to the genre nor ideals that once was. Unfortunately something that can be said about too many bands that call themselves punk these day’s. Anyways, keep it up. /Thubbe at Flashback.

I get Green Day vibes as hell. Nice music! /roffeochjag at Flashback.

Yeah, it does sound like Green Day and  Bad Religion here and there, otherwise I can imagine that you’ve been listening to Lag Wagon and Street Dogs. Maybe just a coincidence but one of the songs sounded a lot like Street Dogs. /Megalomania at Flashback.

This was really good. If Green Day didn’t exist you would have been a millionare. /Enkelbrektius at Flashback.
