It’s been little over one week since the release of “Sympaticus” and it’s been crazy! Overwhelming I would say. Never before have I experienced such a rush of positive critisism. I haven’t even read one single bad word about the album. Concidering I worked my ass of with this project it makes me god damn proud and happy to say the least. I’ve become a lot more confident as a musician because of this.
I would like to thank everyone who took the time to listen to the tracks and give me constructive critisism and help me develope my music. Especially the people at Studio! Thank’s guys!
In other news – I signed up with an online service that offers artists the opportunity to distribute their music to online retailers such as iTunes, Amazon MP3, eMusic, Napster, Rhapsody, mobile services such as Nokia Music, Sony-Ericsson, Play Now Arena and streaming services like Spotify and LaLa. I expect to be all over the place.
I’ve have been receiving e-mail from people, mainly americans, asking me if I will tour their areas, so I might as well anser here that no, I have no plans of touring and the sad throught is that I do not have the means to put up a tour. At least not with my solo project “Soxic Music”. But there might be a chans to catch some of my music live since I concider putting up shows in Sweden with my band “Born Frustrated” sometime in the future. We just recorded a small EP and at the moment none of us are quite sure what to do with it. I’m sure though, great things will come out of it. We’re too damn good and passionate to fade away.
I also have been bombarded with questions regarding the physical release of the album. The answer to that is quite simply – I don’t know. All I can say is that a cd will come, but I am not yet sure exactly when. Most likely before the end of this year. The first copy was handed out today to my good friend and greatest fan Sandro.
