Something while waiting…

Here you go, a little treat while waiting for the album of the year 2009. This is a live recording of me performing “When I Come Around” back in 1995 at a show in college. Enjoy.

Song’s that won’t make it…

The album will be so fucking marvelous these great song’s won’t even make it on the album. These are all demos recorded directly after writing the songs to remember how to play them. They wouldn’t make it on this album, but they might on other future albums.

Still working

Look at that concentration and dedication. What a hard working man. Great sacrifices are made to record this album. Notice the mess in background, well I’m working so hard I can’t even help with the household chores, and my girlfriend is even pregnant! That’s how dedicated I am!

A lot of stuff has happened since you guy’s last heard from me. Well actually, not music wise but artistically at least. The album has a new working title which I won’t reveal and some changes has been made to the song list. Also I was 100% sure about the album cd cover but a couple of day’s ago I changed it, so basically I wasn’t 100% sure to begin with. Maybe 94%…or whatever.

Update

I have laid down the drums for 2 songs so far, so that’s about how far I have come. As soon as all the drum tracks are done, it will all move on pretty quickly. It’s like the ketchup bottle effect. Drums take time. Hard to set up, hard to get a decent sound.

In the middle of all the recording I accidentaly wrote a song. I wasn’t supposed to, but it happened. It took me about 10 minutes to write it and it is called “Bleed”. It’s about hate and taking out revange. The lyrics are personal, but I think everyone can relate to the feelings.

Shattered glass lying on the floor / Smoke escaping the bullet holes / Lock and load, here we go, bleed

Recording

Recording has officially started. I began laying down drum tracks for the first song yesterday. It’s going to take quite some time to record these 14 tracks and it’s going to be a pain in the ass probably. But I’m sure the end result will be worth it.

So leave me the fuck alone and let me work.

When I Come Around

This is the third and last clip from the practice session I have for you. It’s us performing “When I Come Around” and I wish to once again emphasize that Adam has never heard this song in his life and that’s why many of you die hard Green Day fans might react on the fact that it doesn’t follow the distinct pattern of the original. In any way Adam is doing a fucking awesome job so much respect. The vocals are extremely low but who want’s to hear me scream like a cat which just got both it’s legs ripped off from it’s body anyways, right.

Salvation (Live)

So here goes clip number two. This is an extremly punk version of the track “Salvation” from my album “Yearning to breathe free” (2008). I think it came out great except for the quality of the recording of course. Adam is doing some great drumming here and I’m just standing there singing and feeling fucking great inside. As soon as I got a band ready, I’ll be out playing every club in Stockholm. That’s what I wanna do.
