The single “Death of a Nation” has been well received on all channels published. On Garageband.com for example the song went straight up and peaked at 5.0p which is the highest score possible. Right now the song is at 4.7 which is not bad at all concidering it is the people’s votes. I’m really looking forward to the full release.

The album is more or less ready for release now. There are only some minor tweakings to do, if any. I’m really happy with the way it sounds. It can’t even be compared to the old record as this one sounds way more professional and “heavy”. I have been mixing this thing for nearly 2 weeks, day in and day out. It actually was a greater effort to mix and master than to record. After all I am a musician and not a technician. But it’s coming along great. I almost gave up a week ago, frustrated and not happy with the sound. Couldn’t get rid of some nasty frequences but suddenly I found the key to it all and it just simply couldn’t get any better. So I learned a good lession about never giving up.

Anyways, I’m not sure if I have presented the tracks yet, but my favorite one at the moment is called “Death of a Nation” which is more or less a follow up to “Medal of Sorrow”. There’s also a song on there very close to my heart called “Fairy Tail” which is family related. There is also a melodramatic tune called “Salvation”, which in a way could be compared to my other song “Black Heart”. And then there’s “Cubital Fossa” which I wrote after reading Anthony Keidis book “Scar Tissue”.

I’m really looking forward to your reactions and I know there is a small fan base out there waiting for the songs to be released.

Everything is coming along great. I got the mix just how I want it and there isn’t many more songs to work on before I release the whole thing. Of course it will be free to download, the way it should be. I’ll even set an official release date for you. How about June 1st. Maybe I’ll even release a sneak preview any day soon. I’m sitting here enjoying the final version of the first track of the album. I’m really happy with the mix and mastering. By far the best I’ve managed to do ever since I have had great tools to work with. Hopefully I will have the album in my hand in two weeks or so. The album will be released for free on the site of course.
