Thought I’d let you know I will start working on a new site soon. After all, this version has been around for a little more then a year. Also I have written two new songs, one with the “beta” name “Willie Go” which is obviously about my son, and the other one “This Light”.

The album has received great reviews and positive reactions which feels very giving of course. I’m still very pleased with the album and strange enough I’m not sick of it yet. What is strange on the other hand, is that I have already planted the first seeds of the album to come. Yes, that is right. Uncle Danny has started working on another album at the time when the current album has barely been released. It will consist of about 10 old tracks that I written in the past and maybe 6 brand new songs. More about that later. You will be able to buy “My Lament” through Cafepress very soon.

Finally my friends, the album is complete! To be honest I never thought this day would come, at least not so soon. This is a project that has been going on for about 2 years. To begin with I wasn’t very active, but the last couple of months I have been working like an animal to finish the album. The mixing is what took most of my time. I must have worked for days on each track (or nights I should say). The album has been mixed and mastered, the cd inlay is complete and all I have to do now is to update the page. After that I will make an official release of the album. That means handing it out to friends and family, uploading songs on various pages and sending it to a handful of record labels. But I don’t give a shit about signings really, I’m just so happy that I managed to finish the album. I’d love to hear your reactions, so if you download a song, please drop me a line and tell me what you think.

It’s been a hectic summer to say the least with a newborn in the house and all. Any parent knows what it’s like to suffer from insomniac I guess and even though everyone warned me I was pretty much unprepared. But God is it wonderful to be a father. When that little rascal smiled at me for the first time I must have cried a waterfall. As you all might have guessed there wasn’t much time over for music the first period, but now I have picked it up again from where I left it and it’s going real smooth. I am pretty sure the album will be finished before the end of this year. I am currently on track 10 and a song called “Black Heart”. I am especially exited about this song which was written during a time when I was out of work, out of hope and had pretty much had hit rock bottom. It will be fun to share it with people on the internet.

On this day my son William Franz Joseph was born. He weigh 3600 g and was 51 cm long. Bless you sweetheart and may God be with you all your life.

Hi, it’s been a while, and I got a really, really guilty conscience about not finishing the album yet. I only got the fun part left to do, still I can’t seem to get there. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I have a new job and a kid on the way, or maybe I’m just lazy. It sucks that no one, besides a friend or two, is actually reading this but I gotta keep the dream alive you know. Anyway’s, I’ll do my best to finish it. I just listen to a couple of the songs and DAMN it sounds good. I’m gonna be a rock star!

Wow, been a month already since I last updated the news section. Time sure flies fast. First of all I would like to wish you all a post-merry christmas and a pre-happy new year. I hope 2006 will be a better year for the world and all of us. Personally I have had a pretty good year so far. First and most important of all, I am going to be a father, if everything goes well. I also finally managed to get myself a job at the police station (of all places!). We can’t all be rock n roll superstars and I gotta put money on the table you know. But I was never in it for the money or fame anyway’s. Music will always be a part of me, no matter what.
As far as the upcoming album is concerned I have laid down all the drum tracks and only the fun part is left to do. Hopefully recording and mixing from now on will proceed fairly quickly. I have set a goal to record everything before January 15 and do the mixing after that, so the release should be due around mid february or something. But since I only got like 2 fans (my girlfriend and my imaginary friend) I decided there’s no need to hurry.
If anyone reads this…which I doubt, I’m better then you and you know it.

I’m currently in the process of recording a brand new album. The first full length studio album since 1999! There’s no name for the album yet but 5 out of 14 songs have been recorded.
